About the Role
Some children need a little extra support. Others need someone who can be their constant.
We're looking for an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child currently in Year 3, moving into Year 4 this September. This is a rewarding role for someone who understands that progress doesn't always happen at a desk, and that building trust comes before everything else.
The pupil has complex behavioural and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and spends significant periods of the school day working outside the classroom environment. The right person will be calm under pressure, consistent in their approach, and confident supporting children with additional needs in less structured settings.
There is flexibility for the successful candidate to start before the summer break if preferred, helping to build relationships and ensure a smooth transition into the new academic year.
