Salary Range: $84,234 - $140,589Relocation: NoSummaryThe Technical Specialist I - III - Distribution Management System (DMS), Training and Development position will focus on training Distribution Operation Center (DOC) System Operators, Supervisors and DMS support personnel. This position will be responsible for conducting training needs analysis, design, develop, implement, evaluate and conduct simulation training-based programs to meet Company needs and comply with applicable requirements using effective instructional methods and technologies. This position will be required to report on site to the Oncor offices in southwest Dallas or other Oncor facility and will not be a remote work position.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesThis is an in-person job opportunity. Directly or through others, the incumbent will:Organizational:Develops objectives, lesson plans, training material and performance measures for training topics using a systematic approach to training.Develops and delivers simulation exercises relevant to Distribution Operation Center (DOC) System Operators, Shift Supervisors and Distribution Management System (DMS) Support personnel within the Oncor Transmission systemMaintains training records to demonstrate compliance with Oncor requirements.Reviewing and implementing new training technologies to improve the quality and effectiveness of training programs.Performs all essential functions and aspects of the job including any other specific job requirementsInstructor:Creates an exciting and enjoyable training environmentCreates and lead training programs that comply with company and operating proceduresProvides technical instruction to DOC Control Room personnel using simulation exercises, table-top discussion and classroom trainingLeads and evaluates the effectiveness of training programs to ensure task completion while meeting required learning objectivesDevelops technical operational knowledge and principles of electrical theory and distribution power systems used for the DOC Control RoomTech Specialist I -
